What We Do
What Does Professional Water Heater Repair Include?
Repair begins with tests, because a water heater is a small system of parts that fail in distinguishable ways:
- Element and thermostat testing (electric). Continuity and voltage checks that separate a dead element from a lying thermostat — the two most misdiagnosed parts in the trade.
- Burner and gas valve diagnosis (gas). Thermocouple, pilot, and control faults traced in sequence, with venting and combustion checked rather than assumed.
- Sediment flushing and evaluation. The tank drained and read — the sediment's volume and the drain's story tell us how the heater has been aging in your water.
- Anode rod inspection and replacement. The sacrificial rod that rusts so your tank does not; when it is spent to the wire, the tank starts spending itself.
- Valve service. Temperature-and-pressure valves that weep, drip lines that run, and shutoffs that have seized — small parts guarding an expensive vessel.
- An honest tank verdict. If the body is rusting through, the repair stops and the evidence comes out — before your money follows a part into a dying tank.
When the tank itself is finished, the path leads to water heater replacement; when the heater is tankless, its own discipline lives on the tankless water heaters page.
